Honoring “15 in 15” Emerging Nurse Leaders
Do you know a nurse who is an emerging leader with a unique drive and potential to make an impact? Someone poised to become - or is already - a leader? Consider nominating them for this year’s Rising Leaders Recognition Program.

This year’s theme - 15 in ’15 - aims to spotlight 15 aspiring nurses for their skills today, and promise for tomorrow. The purpose is intended to celebrate and encourage exemplar dedication to the nursing profession, dedicated service to the population and promise to grow in leadership for the advancement of nursing in Wyoming.
Award winners will be highlighted in a special feature in the December issue of the Wyoming Nurse. All 15 award winners whom are selected, will need to submit a headshot (for marketing purposes) by September 15th.
In addition each of the 15 award winners will receive a free registration to the Nursing Summit and Convention held September 24-25, 2015 at the Ramkota Hotel in Casper, Wyoming.
Criteria to Include:
1. Currently licensed as RN in the state of Wyoming
2. Significantly or uniquely contributes to leadership within the nursing profession through clinical practice, education and teaching, administrative leadership, research, writing, publishing, policy involvement, and/or healthcare innovation.
3. Demonstrates leadership in community affairs, nursing professional organizations, and in growth and development of others in these areas.
4. Positively promotes and advances the nursing profession in the community (local/global) through volunteerism/outreach efforts, legislative work, and policy development.
