2015 Proposed Bylaw Amendments

On behalf of the Bylaws Committee and WNA Board of Directors, we are submitting to the membership for your consideration several proposed bylaw amendments.

The 2015 proposed amendments include various clean-up items regarding the changes from ANA “House of Delegates” to “Membership Assembly” as well as substantive changes that reflect the transition of WNA moving away from eleven (11) Districts to five (5) Regions. The direction for these proposed amendments was guided by the WNA strategic plan goal “Redefine our organization and make it relevant for all nurses in Wyoming.”

Membership will vote on these proposed amendments at the upcoming Annual Meeting which is held in conjunction with the WNA Convention and Nursing Summit. The vote will take place on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel in Casper, Wyoming.
