We’ve become aware of two opportunities for nurses who wish to increase their leadership skills and advance the profession of nursing by becoming a board member. Here is the information you need to decide if these opportunities suit your interests:
Seremedi, a digital health care company, is looking for four nurses to join their board. The ideal board member would be a generalist with a broad knowledge of patient care workflows and technology, particularly how technology influences workflow. For more information about requirements as a board member and the company, click here. Interested candidates must submit their resume and cover letter to NOBC@nursesonboardscoaltion.org by Monday, April 9, 2018. If you have questions, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is accepting nominations for new members to join the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF). Review their solicitation for nominations for information about the USPSTF, qualifications for appointees, and the nomination process. AHRQ is requesting nominations by May 15. Accepted candidates will serve a 4-year term starting January 2019.
